We offer Uniplan Insurance, which can be added to your tuition fees during the application process – see your offer letter for more details. Uniplan is designed for international students studying in the UK and includes cover for personal belongings, travel, health and medical emergencies.

You are not required to purchase Uniplan Insurance. You may choose to arrange your own insurance instead.

If you arrange your own insurance, you’ll need to provide evidence that it meets the minimum requirements. Your insurance must include:

  • cover for the full duration of your studies, including travel to the UK at the start of your programme and travel home at the end

  • at least £2 million medical emergency and repatriation cover

  • cancellation and curtailment cover for tuition fees and travel costs if you’re unable to start or continue your studies due to illness or injury affecting you or a close family member.

Before choosing your insurance, please review our insurance information, policy documents and important regulatory information.

You may need to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge as part of your visa application. This gives you access to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).

Check how much you’ll need to pay.

You'll also need to pay an enrolment and textbook fee. Depending on your programme, a studio or lab fee may also apply.
